Why should I choose Diversity PA instead of a Virtual Assistant?
DPA has over 20 years experience supporting large teams, Directors, National and Regional Heads in Australia and abroad. Our range of skills have developed from experience in the Finance, IT, Health and NFP sectors and the utmost privacy is maintained with regard to personal and financial information.
DPA offers a bespoke service for small business and busy families, and a Police and Working with Children check is available upon request.
I don’t live near Sydney, is that a problem?
Not at all. Regardless of our physical location, we’re able to communicate with clients in a variety of ways and share files electronically.
Am I locked into a contract?
No, DPA services are available on a casual basis – as, and when you need them. The benefit for you is you only use what you need, and only pay for what has been completed for you.
How do you invoice?
We invoice clients on a weekly or fortnightly basis and accept payment via EFT.
Retainers or project-based rates can be discussed once we have a clear outline of your requirements.
What hours / time zone do you work in?
DPA understands the importance of deadlines and our clients appreciate the flexibility we offer. Hours are Monday – Friday from 9am, which extends to evenings by prior arrangement. Feedback suggests this is particularly advantageous for clients who travel regularly or who aren’t located on the east coast of Australia.
We don’t work weekends or public holidays, unless prior agreements have been made.
Is there a minimum amount of work I need to give you?
For remote work we charge a minimum of 1 hour, otherwise you only use what you need and only pay for what you use.
What if I need onsite support?
Please contact Michelle to discuss tasks that can’t be done remotely, we’ll try our best to accommodate where we can.
What if I want to end our contract?
We’d appreciate 1 week’s notice, but as there are no lock-in contracts, you can end our arrangement at any time.
Are there any extra charges I need to know about?
Mileage charges may apply if your role requires frequent travel. Mileage is calculated at approximately 70 cents per kilometre (subject to change).
What if I need support with tasks that aren’t listed on your website?
There are a wide range of tasks a Personal Assistant is entrusted with, often too many to list.

I’ve never had a PA before, what do I need to get started?
We’ll arrange a time to discuss your needs in depth, from there, we’ll ascertain your top 3 tasks and time frames. We may need access to your templates, files or database, and can get started once we have all the necessary resources.
